Ugga was the foremost in giving nice things (AN 1.253), a quality exemplified at AN 5.44. This Ugga (“of Vesalī”) and the Uggata of the next discourse (“of Elephant Village” near Vesalī) are both said to have eight excellent qualities (AN 8.21, AN 8.22).
