શ્રેષ્ઠતા એક ક્રિયા નથી, પરંતુ એક આદત છે.
આથી હું તમારો સર્વે, Āનંદ, કહું છું: "આ સારાં પ્રથાઓ જાળવો જે મેં સ્થાપિત કરી છે. મારા છેલ્લાના માનવી ના બનો."
- માનવીનો સૌથી મોટો શત્રુ એ તેનો અહંકાર છે. પોતાને ગુમાવવો એ સૌથી મોટું નુકસાન છે.
- અહંકાર એ સૌથી ખરાબ પરાજય છે. સ્વયં-અધિકાર એ સૌથી દયનિય વસ્તુ છે.
- કરુણા અને અપ્રમાણિકતાના જ્ઞાનનો ઉદ્ભવ મનમાં સૌથી મોટા ભેટ છે.
તો Āનંદ, મારી નિષ્ણાત પછી, શિષ્ય તમારા દ્વીપ બને, તમારું પોતાનું દ્વીપ, તમારા પોતાના આશ્રય, કોઈ અન્ય આશ્રય વિના.
સ્વતંત્ર માટે કોઈ કાંફી નથી. જ્યારે કોઈ કાંફી ન હોય છે ત્યારે શાંતિ હોય છે. જ્યારે શાંતિ હોય છે ત્યારે આકર્ષણ ન હોય છે. જ્યારે આકર્ષણ ન હોય છે, ત્યારે આવવું અને જવું નથી. જ્યારે આવવું અને જવું નથી, ત્યારે મૃત્યુ અને પુનરાગમન નથી. જ્યારે મૃત્યુ અને પુનરાગમન નથી, ત્યારે આ દુનિયા કે વિશ્વ-આપણા વચ્ચે કે દ્વીપ વચ્ચે નથી.
ફક્ત આ જ દુઃખનો અંત છે.

જે તેના પગના નિશાન નથી મૂકતો તેનાં પગને કોણને ઓળખી શકે? કર્મો - શબ્દો - વિચારોની શાંતિ એ બુદ્ધની ઉપસ્થિતિ છે. તેની અસમાપ્તતા એ બુદ્ધનું નિયંતન છે.

આ રહેવા દો
સૌથી જ્ઞાનવંતી શબ્દો પણ એક નાવ જેવી છે જે દૂરના તટ પર પહોંચવા માટે, બધા સમય માટે પકડી રાખવા માટે નથી. માત્ર અજોડ ધમ્મા જ સાચો ધમ્મા છે.

જો કોઈ જ્ઞાનીઓ અથવા સદગુણ સંબંધીઓ શોધી શકતો ન હોય, તો તેને એકનો પછી એક, એક વાયૃ હરણની જેમ, એકલ પડકારોમાંથી પસાર થવું જોઈએ.

"Mahā" means great, surpassing. "Kāla" means time, darkness, emptiness. Mahākāla transcends time and space.
- An incarnation of Mahāvairocana Buddha embodies the quality of destruction.
- An aspect of Shiva dissolves everything back into the primal Void.
- Deep blackness represents the absence and complete dissolution of all phenomena.
Mahākāla, fierce and destructive, devastates all of nature and even deities; this represents the Age of Destruction and Emptiness, where time and space are almost beyond conception.

સુટ્ટ નિપાતા
માન્ય faith એ શ્રેષ્ઠ સંપત્તિ છે. ઉદ્યોગશીલ અને સમજદાર વ્યક્તિને યોગ્ય રીતે આદરવામાં આવેલ શિક્ષણ ખુશી આપે છે. સત્ય સૌથી મીઠું છે, અને શ્રેષ્ઠ જીવન જીવીનાર જાણવાથી જીવે છે.

જેમ માતા પોતાના એકમાત્ર બાળકને પોતાની જિંદગીથી સુરક્ષિત કરે છે, તેમ તમામ જીવ માટે અવિસ્તર હૃદય ખોલો. ઊભા, ચાલતા, બેસતા કે જમતા રહેતા આને યાદ રાખો; આ જીવનમાં દૈવી ધ્યાન છે.

સુટ્ટ નિપાતા
બધું અસ્થિર છે, દુઃખ ચિપકવા પરથી ઉત્પન્ન થાય છે. જ્યારે મન નિયંત્રણ હેઠળ હોય છે, ત્યારે માત્ર દુષ્કર્મોથી બચાવવું જરૂરી છે, બધાથી નહીં. બધું અસ્મા છે, નિર્વાણ અસંબદ્ધ છે.
